Patient Care:
     The breast Health Center is very sensitive to a patient's need to know.  Appointment requests are accommodated, and urgent cases are generally seen on the same day.  An answer on the day of the examination is a hallmark of the Breast Health Center, eliminating long, anxious waits for results.  A complete evaluation of each case includes immediate review of breast images, with ultrasound and biopsy when indicated on the day of the exam.  Patients are referred for an MRI or to a breast specialist as needed.  Genetic counselling is facilitated for women with a strong family history.
